Set of 10 CH30 dining chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by Carl Hansen & Søn in Denmark during the 1950s–60s. Introduced in 1954, the CH30 is distinguished by its curved oval backrest, upholstered seat and compact proportions.
One particularly recognisable detail is the cruciform cover caps in the backrest. After being out of production for many years, the CH30 was later reintroduced by Carl Hansen & Søn in collaboration with Wegner’s design studio. The reissued version was made 2 cm taller than Wegner’s original drawing.
