Three seater sofa designed by Steen Østergaard for Jason Møbler in the 1960s. Crafted with frame in Rio rosewood and original black leather upholstery. The model features clean lines, low proportions and a restrained design language typical of Danish modernism. Steen Østergaard trained as a cabinetmaker and studied at the School of Arts & Crafts in Copenhagen. He worked for Finn Juhl from 1962 to 1964 and established his own studio in 1966. Østergaard is known for his work with new materials, industrial production and furniture for Cado, France & Son and Abstracta.
