Iconic pendant, PH Louvre (formerly called PH Kugle), designed by Poul Henningsen in 1957 for the Adventist Church in Skodsborg. The lamp is constructed of 13 lamellas mounted on an internal structure, ensuring a soft and glare-free light. The spherical design creates an even light distribution and a sculptural expression.
PH Louvre is a further development of Henningsen’s earlier work, including Spiralen from 1942, and the name refers to the lamella structure, where the light is elegantly filtered through the shades.
