Set of dining chairs, model 42, designed by Kai Kristiansen in the 1960s. The chairs are crafted in rosewood and are characterized by their elegant proportions, sculptural backrests and refined Danish cabinetmaking details. Model 42 is considered a notable example of Danish furniture design from the mid-20th century.
The chairs were produced by Schou Andersen Furniture Factory and feature seats upholstered in turquoise blue fabric, creating an attractive contrast with the warm tone of the rosewood.
